The Downtown Girls.
Leanne wanted a fun and hip portrait session for her to share with her daughter Grace. So I couldn’t think of a more fitting place than Granby Street in Downtown Norfolk. I was excited to learn that we both share a love for historic downtown architecture as we both grew up in Canadian cities where old historic buildings were commonplace. So it was kind of a blast from the past and fun spot to take Leanne’s and Grace!

A Vintage Love Story. { Jen & Christopher’s Sneak Peak Engagement Collection}
I loved this session. From the moment Jen told me of her love of all things vintage inspired and oh yeah she is also a swing dancer I nearly jumped out of my seat with excitement. These two lovebirds are so in hip and fun- I can’t wait to see how cool their wedding is going to be….

Tea Party
The Greenbrier YMCA in Chesapeake VA hosted their Annual Mommy & Daughter Tea Party. Just picture a room filled with lots of little girls wearing their pretty princess dresses with matching tiaras and oh gosh, we can’t forget the decadent pink cupcakes that were served. They truly were a hit with all the ladies! In between having their manicures and makeup we were able to snap a few pictures of the fun day. All the girls loved posing for the camera and playing with their mommies. I can’t wait for this event to come along next year and hopefully I can create some wonderful memories with my own daughter. :-)
